I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The recently refurbished room I stayed in was comfortable and surpassed my expectations. The atmosphere seemed to cater well to different guest preferences, with a lively section for young party-goers and quiet rooms for mature couples overlooking Herbert Park.

My recently refurbished room for €20 was comfortable and exceeded our expectations. I enjoyed the view over Herbert Park.
Service
8.0
The service here was excellent and friendly. The staff were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, although I did encounter a language barrier with some struggling to understand simple English.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location in Ballsbridge is perfect - a lovely Dublin suburb offering a quiet retreat that's still within easy reach of the city center by a short taxi or bus ride. Being near the Aviva stadium and surrounded by parks and canals, it's a great spot with easy access to restaurants and city attractions.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a bit overpriced for what was offered. I opted to have food brought back to the hotel to enjoy in the 'business centre', but felt that more local ingredients could have enhanced the meals. If you're looking for value, you might consider dining elsewhere or skipping the hotel breakfast.
Facilities
The facilities were good overall, with options like room service and laundry available. However, I found the dining prices a bit steep compared to what was offered.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were fantastic, but I had a camp bed instead of a proper bed, making it quite uncomfortable. The noise from the building work outside and the rattling pipes were irritating, even though the room had some nice amenities like robes and a fancy coffee machine. The service was a bit noisy along the corridor, but the staff were delightful and very helpful when I left my air pods behind. The location in Ballsbridge was excellent, with easy access to Dublin City Centre, although the area was undergoing construction, causing disturbances. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, although a bit outdated. The location was outstanding, next to the lovely Herbert Park gardens in Dublin City, but I spent a lot on taxis getting around. The service was friendly, but I felt they might have been a bit understaffed. The dining had a variety of options but seemed overpriced. Overall, the hotel offered clean and comfortable accommodations with a great location, though some aspects were a bit pricey.
